What is legal in Fridley
Fridley adopted Ordinance #4126 on January 10, 2025. The city allows at most three cannabis retail registrations, and all three are issued. Home Cultivation
Minnesota state law allows adults 21+ to grow up to 8 cannabis plants at home, with no more than 4 mature flowering plants at once. Plants must be in an enclosed, locked space not visible from public areas.

- Up to 8 grams of concentrate
- Edibles: up to 800mg THC per transaction
Medical Cannabis
Registered Minnesota medical cannabis patients are exempt from the 15% state excise tax and 6.875% sales tax. To register, visit mn.gov/ocm. Registration is free. Bring your OCM patient ID to the dispensary.
