Safe Cannabis Consumption Guide

For New Users

  • 1

    Start Low, Go Slow

Begin with 2.5-5mg THC for edibles, or one small puff for smoking

  • 2

    Wait Before Taking More

Effects from edibles can take 30-90 minutes. Wait at least 2 hours before re-dosing.

  • 3

    Choose a Safe Environment

Be somewhere comfortable with people you trust for your first experience

  • 4

    Stay Hydrated

Keep water nearby. Cannabis can cause dry mouth.

If You've Had Too Much

Don't Panic

While uncomfortable, cannabis overconsumption is rarely dangerous. No one has ever fatally overdosed on cannabis alone.

  • Find a calm, quiet place to rest
  • Drink water and eat a light snack
  • Take slow, deep breaths
  • CBD may help counteract THC effects
  • Sleep it off - effects will pass in a few hours
