License Types Explained
Microbusiness
Small-scale vertically integrated. Can cultivate up to 5,000 sq ft, manufacture, and sell directly to consumers. Lower fees and requirements.
Mezzobusiness
Mid-scale vertically integrated. Can cultivate up to 15,000 sq ft with manufacturing and retail capabilities.
Cultivator
Grows cannabis plants. Tiers based on canopy size from small (up to 10,000 sq ft) to large (over 100,000 sq ft).
Retailer
Sells cannabis products directly to consumers. Must meet local zoning requirements and state security standards.
