Home Grow Rules in Mankato
Minnesota law allows adults 21 and older to grow up to 8 cannabis plants at home, with a maximum of 4 mature plants at any time. Plants must be in an enclosed locked space not visible from public view. Mankato does not add local restrictions. Students in university housing should check MSU Mankato or South Central College housing policies, which may restrict cultivation regardless of state law.
