I love this place

What a gem! Small family run wonderful store. The staff are all very helpful with incredible knowledge. Willing to go above and beyond to help. I would highly recommend checking them out. You won’t be disappointed.

Had the pleasure of stopping into the The Lakes Dispensary. Customer service was amazing, Owners Max and Mitch very knowledgeable about the product they are selling. Location is perfect stop in grab your product and back on the road. It's a one stop shop. Will definitely recommend to anybody that wants to go to a dispensary!!!!

These 5 star reviews leave me skeptical as the people posting them are either completely new to smoking or something else is up. Many have only 1 review. Just look at the photos in the lower scored reviews for an accurate review. Maybe friends and family or incentivized reviews. I was interested in checking it out since we're close by and I like to support up and coming dispensaries. I've even driven up to Native Care just to try it back when they opened. For "The Lakes" though, the staff was nice but unfortunately it's a bunch of the BeezWax brand products, which were a low quality hemp company and it seems like these are the same products but moved onto the recreational market. It might even be their own retail location and not just a dispensary carrying their products. They had a prolific presence in smoke shops before. Having tried a few options back then, including the oddly pulpy gatorade like beverages, I was skeptical but still willing to take more of a look around. Checked out the flower samples which were dry and didn't smell great. OG Godfather, Black Diamond, Mr. frosty. Mids at best. The only one I would even consider trying is the OG Godfather, but if someone were to pass me a cone in rotation I'd let it pass me. Then you compare their prices to other dispensaries and it really doesn't make sense to pay an extra 15 an eighth when the other dispensaries have a better product even when sourced from the tribes. My sister is new to smoking and was mainly interested in a pre roll, but wasn't impressed either before I even mentioned anything. If you (The Lakes) are just carrying the products then you NEED to dump the Beezwax brand and get something that isn't trash. If it is your brand, as harsh as it sounds it might be time to rebrand and start over. It is not viewed favorably with many. We'll keep an eye on your website to see if things improve (and if things get listed online). Unfortunately I don't anticipate going back currently and will recommend people avoid them in the mean time. The only reasons for 2 stars instead of 1 is the friendly staff and decent presentation of the retail space, and 1 star reviews are often overlooked as insincere. Even with our disappointment I don't hold any ill will toward the lakes and genuinely hope things improve. Good luck, visited on 2-3-26 around 7pm. Saw one review saying 4 days ago that was a "fresh" flower drop, which is crazy if that's what's considered "fresh". Tldr: Nice place and staff, bad over priced products. Avoid Beezwax brand.

Friendly knowledgeable and personable staff. It was a pleasure to go into a nice clean, professionally run cannabis dispensary in our area. A shout out to Kelly. She was very friendly and helpful bud tender. We like the flower they had a small selection, but very nice quality flower I would highly recommend checking this place out. It’s great we can keep it local

I recently visited The Lakes Cannabis Dispensary, and I had an outstanding experience! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt welcoming and vibrant. The layout of the store is clean and well-organized, making it easy to browse their extensive selection. CASH ONLY and they have ATM Machines in the shop. Mitchell, one of the family members who owns the dispensary, was particularly helpful. He took the time to answer all my questions and provided recommendations based on my preferences. I went with my SIL and felt safe and respected the whole time as two females shopping. The product selection is features a variety of strains, edibles, and fresh Minnesota grown flower. I ended up buying all of the pens and at 2.2g it a BIG hit. The prices are also reasonable compared to other places I’ve visited, I paid $70/pen plus the weed tax and that’s a good deal for the quality of the hit. Overall, I highly recommend The Lakes Cannabis Dispensary to anyone looking for quality products and excellent service. I’ll definitely be returning!

First time being here and I've been to many dispensaries every where across the country....seemed really sketchy and was told the "pre rolls" are legit only to get home and tare it open to find seeds all over in it smelling artificial like it's from Mexico...the hemp derived part had been sharpied off.....won't be going back
