Sota Sown sits on US Highway 10 in Hawley, a small Clay County community positioned almost exactly halfway between Detroit Lakes and Fargo, North Dakota. The shop at 22321 Highway 10 is a licensed adult-use cannabis retailer that draws from a wide corridor of travelers moving between northwestern Minnesota resort country and the North Dakota border. Hawley itself is a quiet agricultural town of around 2,000 residents, but its Highway 10 address puts Sota Sown in the path of lake-bound vacationers heading to the Detroit Lakes chain, Pelican Lake, and the broader Becker County resort region. The dispensary operated as a CBD and delta-8 shop before transitioning to full state-licensed adult-use cannabis retail under the Minnesota Office of Cannabis Management, giving it a longer track record with local customers than many newer operators. Product offerings include flower, edibles, and vape cartridges, with staff oriented toward both first-time visitors and regulars from the surrounding farming communities. Customers traveling east from Fargo or west from the Twin Cities along the Highway 10 corridor will find Sota Sown a convenient stop. Bring a valid 21-plus ID, and check the website or call ahead for current hours and menu availability.
