No state cannabis tax, no medical card
Under Minn. Stat. § 295.81, subd. 2, sales made on tribally regulated land by a cannabis business licensed by a Minnesota Tribal government are excluded from the state’s 15% cannabis gross receipts tax. Lake Leaf’s own site says its prices are out the door, no medical card is required, and its stores are for use only by adults 21 and older.
