Our Commitment to Accuracy
Cannabis law, licensing, and pricing in Minnesota change often, and our coverage can directly affect a reader's legal standing or health decisions. When we get something wrong, we correct it, and we tell readers that it changed. This page explains how that process works. How Corrections Work
Report an Error
If you spot something inaccurate, outdated, or misleading on MN Cannabis Hub, tell us through our contact page. Include the URL of the page and a description of what needs to be fixed.
We Verify and Update
We check the claim against the primary source before publishing a fix: Minnesota Statutes Chapter 342, OCM guidance, the Department of Health, or the dispensary itself.
The Article Is Marked
When a published article is corrected, its "Updated" date changes to reflect the correction, and that date is shown next to the byline so readers can see when the page last changed.
We Confirm With You
If you reported the error, we let you know once it has been corrected.
Significant vs. Minor Corrections
Significant Factual Corrections
Errors that affect a legal, medical, licensing, or pricing claim (for example, a wrong possession limit, an incorrect tax rate, or a dispensary listed as open when it has closed) are treated as significant. We re-verify the claim against a primary source, update the article, and update its "Updated" date so the correction is visible to readers.
Minor Corrections
Typos, grammar, broken links, formatting, and other changes that do not affect the substance of an article are fixed on sight and do not change the article's "Updated" date.
