Fairwater Farm is a licensed OCM microbusiness dispensary and living-soil cannabis cultivator in Plainview, a small community in Wabasha County tucked in the rolling hills of southeastern Minnesota between Rochester and the Mississippi River bluffs. As both a grower and a retailer, Fairwater Farm produces its own cannabis using regenerative, living-soil cultivation practices -- an approach that appeals to shoppers who value craft, sun-grown, or small-batch product over mass-produced alternatives. The shop was among the first wave of non-tribal OCM-licensed retail operations to open in Minnesota, establishing itself as a pioneering independent outlet for the region. Fairwater Farm serves both recreational adults 21 and older and registered medical cannabis patients. The dispensary accepts cash and debit; bringing cash is recommended for the smoothest transaction. Plainview is a short drive from Rochester, Lake City, and Wabasha, making Fairwater Farm a viable option for southeast Minnesota residents seeking locally grown cannabis from a cultivator-owned shop.
