These four companies held an unexpired Minnesota Department of Agriculture Seed Permit - Annual when this list was checked on October 5, 2026. The same records were opened again on October 7, 2026. Each still showed an end date of December 31, 2026.
Read this before you treat the list as current
MDA says its licensing site is public and real time, so a permit can expire, be revoked, or be added after this page was written. Search Licensing Information Search for license type Seed Permit - Annual, and leave "Unexpired Licenses Only" checked.
A seed permit is not an Office of Cannabis Management dispensary license, and it is not a quality ranking from this site. MDA's cannabis seed FAQ says the permit belongs to the labeler. A retailer can sell seed that a permitted labeler already labeled, without holding a permit, if the retailer does not alter, repackage, or relabel it.

The permit is the MDA record. Their seed page uses Farm Bill and adult-souvenir language. Read that caution on the directory page before you treat the marketing line as the classification.

Permit 20296116 is the MDA record for Simply Crafted CBD LLC, doing business as Simply Crafted, at 726 Northeast Central Ave, Minneapolis. That part is the license lookup.
Their seed page, read October 7, 2026, also says the seeds are Farm Bill compliant, contain 0.0% THC, are legal to ship under the 2018 Farm Bill, and are sold as adult souvenirs or genetics with less than 0.3% THC (getsimplycrafted.com/seeds).
MDA's cannabis seed FAQ says viable seed labeled as a novelty or souvenir is not exempt from the Minnesota Seed Law, and seed that produces cannabis plants cannot be labeled or sold as hemp just because the seed itself is at or under 0.3% total THC. Use the package label and the LIS record. Do not treat the souvenir line as the legal classification. Highnorth
An October 5, 2026 check of MDA LIS for an unexpired Seed Permit - Annual did not find a permit in the name Highnorth. This directory does not claim that store sells seed, and it does not claim the store lacks every other license. MDA says a retailer may offer seed that a permitted labeler already labeled, without holding a seed permit, if the retailer does not alter, repackage, or relabel it. A missing permit is not a permit. Re-check LIS before you treat any shop as the labeler.
What this directory will not do
It will not add a seller because a website says "licensed" or "Farm Bill compliant." It will not list clones. It will not quote a sponsorship rate. Sponsored placement is not for sale on this page.
It will not claim these four names are the only legal place to buy a seed. MDA says any retailer may offer fully labeled seed from a permitted labeler. If a shop is not on this list, ask whose name is on the label, then look that labeler up.
