Winona's American Made Cannabis Adds Home Delivery
American Made Cannabis in downtown Winona now delivers. The store says it's the first retailer in southeastern Minnesota to offer compliant home delivery.
Shoppers in Winona can now get cannabis delivered. American Made Cannabis, a downtown dispensary at 162 E. 3rd St., added a delivery service this fall, the Winona Daily News reported on October 12, 2026. In a September LinkedIn post, the company called itself "the first retailer in Southeastern Minnesota to offer compliant, direct-to-door home delivery."
How it works
According to the Winona Daily News (River Valley Media Group), customers order through the dispensary's website. The order goes into the store's point-of-sale system, staff package it, and a driver delivers it. Drivers go through an onboarding process before they're cleared to deliver. At the time of the report, owner Gina Gomez's partner Juan Aguirre was the only cleared driver, and a budtender was in onboarding.
The paper reported that customers paid in person at delivery, by card or cash. Minnesota has its own rules for how cannabis delivery orders are handled and paid for. Our delivery driver guide covers the state rule. Ask the store how payment works when you order.
About the store
Gomez opened the Winona store in July 2026. The company describes itself as woman-owned and nurse-led. Gomez told the paper that Minnesota's microbusiness license lets small operators "do a lot of amazing things," and that convenience is "our niche to begin with."
The store's website lists Winona hours as 1–10 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m.–10 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 11 a.m.–9 p.m. Sunday. It offers online ordering for pickup or delivery and says it accepts debit or cash. The company also says it's opening a second location at 330 El Dorado Drive in Jordan.
