Downtown Taylors Falls has its first licensed adult-use dispensary. The Bridge MN welcomed customers on October 13, 2026, according to reporting by Matt Anderson in the Osceola Sun and Country Messenger.

The basics

  • Where: downtown Taylors Falls, on Bench Street. The Chisago County Press reported the city's retail license approval for that location.
  • Hours: 7 days a week, 12 p.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Who can buy: adults 21 and older with a valid government-issued ID, tribal ID, or passport. Minnesota residency isn't required.
  • Owner: Buck Duncan. He calls it a family-owned company.

A long road to opening

The Bridge started as a CBD and wellness store in Taylors Falls in 2023. Duncan had opened a similar shop in St. Paul in 2019. The paper reports that he submitted a preliminary application in March 2025, got preliminary approval in May 2025, and received full licensing in August 2026. In June 2025, Taylors Falls approved the city's one available retail cannabis license for Duncan's business, the Chisago County Press reported.

Duncan did the store's build-out work himself, according to the Osceola Sun: a new layout, a customer ID area, and a security system with about 16 cameras. "It was literally a year and a half of me working on it," he told the paper.

On the shelves

At opening, the store carried packaged flower, pre-rolls, edibles, and beverages. Duncan said he expected about 12 flower and pre-roll varieties at first, with vape cartridges to come as more Minnesota-grown supply reaches the market. He also said he wants to carry products from small craft growers in the St. Croix Valley.

His online menu lists flower and pre-roll products from Minnesota brands and offers in-store pickup ordering.

The Wisconsin angle

Taylors Falls sits right across the St. Croix River from Wisconsin, where adult-use cannabis isn't legal. Duncan told the paper he expects Wisconsin residents could be "our biggest demographic market." Adults visiting from out of state can buy at Minnesota dispensaries, but taking cannabis across a state line is a separate legal question. Wisconsin law still applies once you're there. See our Minnesota cannabis transport laws guide before you drive. The Wisconsin visitors guide covers the same border question for shoppers, and the dispensary directory lists licensed Minnesota stores. A purchase in Taylors Falls can be checked against the license lookup. The tax comparison with neighboring states is where Wisconsin's lack of a legal market is set next to Minnesota's 15% excise tax.
