- Employment protections - Minnesota law generally bars employers from penalizing registry enrollment or a positive cannabis test alone; exceptions apply for federal-law conflicts and on-the-job use or impairment (Minn. Minnesota certification-provider options
A provider certification and Minnesota's OCM enrollment are separate steps. After a provider certifies you, submit your own enrollment application to OCM. Minnesota eliminated the annual patient enrollment fee effective July 1, 2023. The state enrollment fee is $0. OCM portal walkthrough covers that step.
