Quick answer

The cbdMD sleep gummy lists 5 mg melatonin, 25 mg CBD, and 20 mg CBN in each gummy, at $39.99 on October 20, 2026. The plain cbdMD CBD gummies list no melatonin. Melatonin is a separate ingredient, so check the milligrams per piece on the label, not just the word "sleep."

CBD melatonin gummies are a shopping category, not a diagnosis. This page checks Diamond CBD and cbdMD products for adults 21 and older and does not claim that any of them treat insomnia. A calming gummy on cbdMD's site does not list melatonin, and its ingredient line says full spectrum hemp extract, so this page does not link it.

Can you take CBD with melatonin?

Some products already combine them, and the label shows the amounts. The FDA says CBD used with alcohol or other drugs that slow brain activity, including those used for sleep disorders, raises the risk of sedation and drowsiness. We found no source that settles CBD plus a separate melatonin supplement, so ask a clinician or pharmacist, especially if you take other medicines. Compare CBD melatonin gummy and softgel options

Product Type on its page Label facts we checked
30 mg sleep gummies, blackberry (Diamond CBD, Chill) Broad spectrum CBD and melatonin gummy 30 mg per gummy, 30 gummies, 900 mg total; the page does not split out the melatonin amount in the summary we checked
30 mg broad spectrum CBD and melatonin gummies (Diamond CBD, Fresh) Broad spectrum CBD and melatonin gummy 30 mg per piece, per the product summary
cbdMD sleep gummies Broad spectrum gummy with CBN and melatonin 5 mg melatonin, 25 mg CBD, 20 mg CBN per gummy, $39.99
cbdMD PM softgels Gelatin softgel 3 mg melatonin, 50 mg CBD, 10 mg CBN, 5 mg CBG per softgel; marked unavailable

Row order follows what each partner pays the Hub, highest first. It is a commercial order, not a quality ranking. Nothing But Canna is not listed because its sleep products are built around THC, which this page does not cover. Prices move, so only the cbdMD price we checked is printed.

Are CBD gummies good for a sleep aid?

We found no source in this review showing that a CBD gummy works as a sleep aid, so this page does not claim it. The FDA has not approved CBD gummies for sleep. What the labels show is milligrams of CBD, CBN, and melatonin per piece. At most, an ingredient such as melatonin or chamomile may be part of a bedtime routine for some adults. The seller's page is more confident than this guide, so prefer the milligrams, the age line, the driving warning, and the lab file.

How long does it take for CBD sleep gummies to kick in?

We found no independent source on onset time for these products. The sellers' own instructions are the only timing on the pages: take one cbdMD sleep gummy 30 to 60 minutes before bed, and one PM softgel about an hour before bed. Those are retailer sentences, not Hub advice. The sleep gummy page also says not to drive after use and not to combine the product with alcohol or medications.

What are the side effects of CBD sleep gummies?

The FDA lists drowsiness, diarrhea or decreased appetite, and mood changes such as irritability among CBD side effects, and it warns of liver injury and interactions with other drugs. For melatonin, the National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health says it is sold as a dietary supplement, regulated less strictly than a drug, and may stay active longer in older adults and cause daytime drowsiness. It also notes a 2023 study found 22 of 25 over-the-counter melatonin gummy products were inaccurately labeled. Sources: FDA and NCCIH, accessed October 20, 2026.

Are there CBD sleep gummies without melatonin, or with CBN?

Yes. The cbdMD broad spectrum CBD gummies list 50, 100, or 200 mg of CBD per serving and no melatonin. Diamond sells 25 mg broad spectrum CBD gummies in the original mix (30 gummies, 750 mg total) and 25 mg CBN nano tablets in blueberry for a CBN-only option. A CBN label is not a sleep result. Read what CBN is before you buy, and check the lab report for THC on any CBN product.

What is the difference between melatonin and CBD on a label?

Melatonin is an ingredient some products add. CBD is the cannabinoid the bottle is named for. A product can have one, the other, or both. "CBD for sleep" as a search does not tell you which one you would be swallowing.

The sleep gummy page title in the browser was "CBD Melatonin Gummies for Sleep." The on-page description says each tropical-flavored gummy has 25 mg CBD, 20 mg CBN, and 5 mg melatonin, plus chamomile and L-theanine. It says one gummy is a serving. It says the gummies are vegan and gluten-free. It says the seller's THC-free wording applies, and the site footnote defines that asterisk as below the level of detection using validated scientific methods. The page is marked 21 and older. The seller's review widget showed 4.3 out of 5 from 313 reviews. That widget is not a Hub count.

The plain gummy page does not use the word melatonin. It is the control in this comparison: broad spectrum CBD gummies, vegan, gluten-free, 21 and older, with serving options of 50, 100, and 200 mg CBD. Bottle variants in the feed were 1,500 mg at $69.99, 3,000 mg at $84.99, and 6,000 mg at $114.99. This page does not invent a piece count to connect the serving milligrams to the bottle milligrams.

The seller's sleep copy talks about falling asleep faster and staying asleep. This guide does not adopt those sentences as results. Melatonin at 5 mg is a labeled amount. It is not proof of an outcome. People who already take melatonin, or who take other sedating drugs, should ask a clinician before they add a gummy. The page itself says not to drive after use and not to combine the product with alcohol or medications.

There is a fourth product people mix into this question: the PM oil. It is a mint tincture, 1,500 mg, listed at $54.99. The page says 150 mg of melatonin per bottle. That is a bottle total. It is not 150 mg in the half dropper the page describes as a way to take the oil. This guide will not divide 150 mg by a dropper count the page did not give.

Serving comparison. Sleep gummies list 5 mg melatonin, 25 mg CBD, and 20 mg CBN per gummy. PM softgels list 3 mg melatonin per softgel and were unavailable. Plain gummies do not list melatonin.

Source: cbdMD pages for the sleep gummies, PM softgels, and plain gummies, October 20, 2026. Sleep and PM amounts are milligrams per piece. Plain gummy amounts are milligrams of CBD per serving, not per bottle. The plain gummy page did not list melatonin. These are label facts, not a sleep dose.

Why the calming gummy is not in the table

The calming gummy is titled as a broad spectrum product. The description lists 25 mg CBD, 3 mg CBG, and 10 mg CBN, at $44.99, and it does not mention melatonin. The all-ingredients line then says "Full Spectrum Hemp Extract." Title and ingredient list disagree. This page will not link a product whose ingredient list names full spectrum hemp extract. If the seller corrects that line, the link decision can be revisited. Until then, the sleep gummy and the plain gummy are the gummies this guide will send you to.

That exclusion is also why a drug-test shopper should not treat every "broad spectrum" heading as the same formula. Spectrum is a manufacturing claim. The ingredient list and the certificate of analysis are the checks. What CBN is explains the molecule. It does not make 20 mg of CBN on a gummy into a sleep dose.

Softgels if you do not want a gummy

Some people want the melatonin number in a capsule instead of a gummy. The PM softgel is that cbdMD option, with 3 mg melatonin per softgel rather than 5 mg per gummy. It was unavailable on the day this page was checked. The regular softgels do not list melatonin at all. The CBD softgels guide covers gelatin, bottle totals, and the price ladder for the non-PM capsules.

Do not add the gummy's 5 mg to the softgel's 3 mg and call it a plan. They are alternate products. The seller's sleep gummy text says take one gummy 30 to 60 minutes before bed. The PM softgel text says take one about an hour before bed. Those are separate retailer sentences.

No detectable THC is still a lab sentence

The sleep gummy page uses the seller's THC-free wording and the site footnote: below the level of detection using validated scientific methods. The plain gummy sits under the same footnote. Neither page, in the copy checked for this guide, used the exact sentence "batch-tested to ensure no detectable THC" that appears on the softgel and topical pages. Do not paste that sentence onto the gummy if you did not see it there. Download the lab file for the lot.

The pages that do print the longer warning, including the oil and the softgels, also say delta-9 does not exceed 0.3% on a dry weight basis and that the product can expose you to THC under a California warning. A percent, a detection limit, and a milligram-per-container cap are different. The cbdMD review draws that three-line figure.

December 11, 2026 is the federal date. The federal hemp changes guide reports the Office of Cannabis Management's account: finished hemp products over 0.4 mg total THC per container fall outside the new federal definition, and Minnesota's lower-potency hemp rules do not change that day. Those state rules, in section 342.01, subdivision 50, include a non-beverage path of no more than 5 mg delta-9 THC per serving. A gummy marketed around no detectable THC is a different product from a hemp edible at the state milligram cap. The COA is how you tell them apart for one batch.

Minnesota context, without a dispensary claim

These gummies are not a licensed Minnesota dispensary menu. The cannabis for sleep article is about cannabis at licensed retailers, including THC. Do not mix its strain notes with this hemp gummy. If you want a store, start at the dispensary directory. If you want the state excise on licensed cannabis, use the tax breakdown. A mail-order hemp gummy is not that receipt.

The terms supplied to the Hub include a 15% off coupon and US-only shipping. The sleep gummy page did not show a coupon code. It did display free shipping on orders of $60 or more and a 60-day return line, next to the $39.99 price. Confirm both in the cart. This page will not invent a code or a delivery date.

Pet products are out of this comparison even when a dog oil mentions melatonin. The dog calming oil lists melatonin and does not state a milligram amount. That belongs on the Paw CBD guide, not in a human gummy serving. Do not share a sleep gummy with an animal. The FDA has not approved CBD for use in animals.

FAQ

Do cbdMD sleep gummies contain melatonin?

Yes. The product page checked on October 20, 2026 lists 5 mg of melatonin per gummy, with 25 mg CBD and 20 mg CBN, and it says one gummy is a serving. The listed price in the product feed was $39.99.

Do the regular cbdMD gummies contain melatonin?

No. The broad spectrum CBD gummy page does not list melatonin. It lists 50, 100, or 200 mg of CBD per serving. If a page does not name melatonin, this guide will not add it.

How is the PM softgel different from the sleep gummy?

The PM softgel lists 3 mg of melatonin per softgel, plus 50 mg CBD, 5 mg CBG, and 10 mg CBN, in a gelatin capsule. The sleep gummy lists 5 mg of melatonin in a vegan gummy. The PM variant was marked unavailable on October 20, 2026. They are not the same serving.

Do cbdMD sleep gummies contain CBN, and is that the same as THC?

The sleep gummy lists 20 mg of CBN per gummy. CBN is a different cannabinoid from THC, and the seller's THC-free wording applies to the page. A lab report for your lot is the only document that shows the THC result.

Can these gummies promise you will pass a drug test?

No. The seller's footnote defines THC-free as below the detection limit of a validated method. That is no detectable THC on the test they describe, not a promise about a workplace test or about the next batch. Read the certificate of analysis, and see can CBD make you fail a drug test.

Could Minnesota medical enrollment lower your eligible purchase taxes?

$99 with code MNHUB. Provider certification comes before OCM enrollment review.
