Juxtaposition rules
- Acres (MDA outdoor or NASS open-grown) are not the same as indoor canopy square footage (OCM). They are never summed into one "farmland" total.
- MDA and USDA NASS figures can differ. Both are cited with their as-of date, and neither is silently preferred.
